Dr. Stephanie Zinsser discovered her passion for veterinary medicine in sixth grade and never looked back. She earned her bachelor's degree from Cornell University before graduating from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Following veterinary school, Dr. Zinsser completed a rotating internship at VCA California Animal Hospital in Los Angeles. She went on to practice both emergency medicine and general veterinary care for over a decade in the LA area.
Now based in Albuquerque, Dr. Zinsser is a valued member of the Emergency department at VCA Veterinary Care Animal Hospital and Referral Center. Her favorite part of each day is collaborating with an incredible team to care for pets and support the families who love them.Dr. Zinsser joined VCA Veterinary Care Animal Hospital and Referral Center in 2021.
